Francesca is extremely passionate about health and about maximising the human body's remarkable potential for self healing from the inside out.
After a degree in Psychology and subsequently Speech and Language Therapy, Francesca spent 8 years working in the field of neurology, neurosurgery, and intensive care helping patients who had communication and/or swallowing difficulties. Following these years in the conventional medical setting and some health challenges of her own, Francesca came to strongly believe that the key to good heath lies in a preventative and holistic multimodal approach which takes into account the body as a whole, views each individual as absolutely unique, addresses the root of illness rather than just its symptoms, and in which nutrition plays an essential role. This spurred her on to train as a Naturopath and Nutritional Therapist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Francesca is fully registered with the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). She is strongly committed to her ongoing professional development, and consistently keeps up to date with a fast growing field of research through regular attendance at relevant professional courses and ongoing peer exchanges and discussions.
Francesca has worked with people with a range of conditions including, amongst others, a number of autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, stress and fatigue, thyroid conditions and other hormonal imbalances, mental health, irritable bowel syndrome, and varied digestive dysfunctions. Her aim is always to support people achieve their health goals through a holistic approach and through identifying the root cause of their symptoms and addressing these accordingly, using food, nutraceuticals, life-style changes and proven stress reduction techniques.
